CONSIDERATIONS:
The elevation of the ranch is 7,300 ft. In high rocky mountain altitude to avoid or diminish any altitude sickness, drink lots of water when you arrive, and take it easy when you first get here. The sun is strong at that altitude. A brimmed hat, and sunscreen are highly advised. Other items to bring may include chap stick, body lotion, and bug repellant. Evenings are cool and to keep up with a change in weather have a warm sweater and/or jacket handy, and rain slicker for afternoon showers.
HISTORY:
Eugene Amoretti homesteaded the EA Ranch in the early 1900’s. The guest cabins, barn, and other out buildings are original. Butch Cassidy and Eugene were friends.
